Drivers Beware! Things You Cannot Do in Romanian Traffic

Romanian traffic laws have strict rules regarding the transport of bulky objects in vehicles to ensure road safety. If you are a driver, you should be aware that you can be fined if you do not comply with a few important aspects.

According to the Road Code, driving with doors open is prohibited, including the sunroof or tailgate. The transport of bulky goods that protrude from the trunk of the car is strictly prohibited.

Drivers are also not allowed to transport objects in or on the car that exceed the length of their car.

Drivers who do not comply with these rules will be fined between 990 lei and 1,320 lei. In addition, the traffic police officer may immobilize the vehicle if they consider that road safety is at risk.

These rules are essential, and following them ensures safety for both the driver and other road users. Using a suitable vehicle and complying with safety regulations is crucial, writes Playtech.ro.
